Life in the ministry August 2019

August was a fairly quiet month for us here in YWAM Olongapo. However we had a few national holidays which gave us time to rest and explore. Our women and children were blessed with a day out to Ocean Adventure where they had a great time meeting and seeing many animals. We have also welcomed two new people into our family. One guy who came here two years ago on outreach has come back to volunteer while studying ALS and a former disciple/staff has returned as a psychologist for two months to work alongside the staff. One of our women has started studying midwifery at one of the local colleges and at the end of the month we sent our leaders off to Norway for two months for vacation and networking, where they took many of our livelihood products to share more about the ministry. We have also had two work men working 6 days a week to help us with the maintenance of the building, fixing what needs to be fixed. Some of our staff were able to join a seminar together with local pastors and one of our staff attended a leadership meeting with other YWAM leaders from around the area. On top of that we have had our regular schedule of worship, teaching, children's ministry, evangelism and livelihood training. Check out below to see more of what we got up to.
