YOUNG PEOPLE UPDATE

Our young people are doing well. One of the highlights we have is our young people help us to facilitate an event at the base which is called the “Baduy Night” baduy means out of fashion event. We are happy how they cooperate. We still continue with our devotion every morning. We are looking forward for them to rise up someday. That someday they will share the gospel boldly.

Prayer Concern:

  •  Please pray for the staffs that handle them that God will give us creativity, wisdom, joy, strength in dealing with these young people.

  •  Please pray for our young people to fully grounded on the word of God.

  •  Please pray that they will they will rise up in their school. 4. Please pray for Financial provision.

Children Ministry

CHILDREN MINISTRY UPDATE

Praise Report:

Thank you so much to all our YWAM family and friends for the early christmas present that you have given to the children's ministry! We will now be able to buy a desperately needed electric fan and mosquito screens! Glory To God!!! Our Update: This December, the Children's Ministry decided to put on a christmas event. We took the children out to the street to give small packs of snacks to the different people that we encountered. They even pray for them. We can really see the pureness of the heart of these kids and also we see God's unfailing love for the people we encountered also. We do believe that this experience will remain in the hearts of our young children and that they will remember it throughout their lives. They may be young but being able to bless others is an important learning experience. It was simple giving but yet we know that God spoke to those people we encountered. Glory to God!!!

Prayer Concerns:

  • Please include the Children's Ministry in prayer. We are planning to do a similar event again in 2018, aiming to bless 50 individuals.

  • Please pray that the children will continue to know God even more in their young hearts

Discipleship Ministry

Luke 2:1-20New International Version (NIV)

The Birth of Jesus

1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,     and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told

 a good reminder:

A thoughts for us and a good reminder and  en tirelessly that will change our hearts and lives forever the Heart of God for all of us ,why he came to this world to save the lost.and may God help us to bee a good in keeper of his  household  specially on the things that God has entrusted to us this precious  woman that came to our place, may he find us faithful and never get tired and weary in serving them.May the Lord of host whom we serve be delighted till the day he return.

It's a joy seeing the Disciples in how they take initiative to help one another. And how they give their best in to their given task, all although there are times they were challenge even to push into their own limits. It's amazing how they respond to every situation.were glad their learning some are fast learner others are gradually but its good. Its a safe place for them to open up themselves, and let their true colors came out and be set free.

As discipleship team we encouraged them to have their morning prayer  and worship. To show how important it was in their daily lifestyle. It's very important for them to  have their own personal quiet time, and exercise as well before they all start their day with many different activities schedules.

We also celebrate  the dedication of the son  of Amy ,name Matthew and Abby  his son Ezekiel were both dedicated  in Calvary church last Sunday.  The disciples we're given an opportunity to  perform interpretative dance "There is none Like you". in the Church on the same day it was a wonderful.Thank you lord for the opportunity to bless the church and the people there with their beautiful dances.

Last month it was a sudden decision of our 2 disciples Marites and Monica decided to live Ywam Olongapo. Both of them left  in almost the same week.We feel sad about them in their choices they made, even though how much we want them to be here. If  they don't want to be here we cannot force them to be  in the ministry. We still go and visit them  and encouraged them to come back .Ywam is still open for them if  ever they ever changes their mind._

"It's very difficult to help people to change, even though how much you tried to give your best for them, when in fact  they themselves doesn't want to be change. In the midst of that we're still hoping and believe, that  one day each of them will be transformed and make a difference. For out from nothing how people view them of who they are,But out from nothing God made them into  something greater. . We as Youth with A Mission is a safe  haven and open for all woman, from different raises and backgrounds which they came from. Our hearts and hands are open for them to reach them out and help them grow individually trough physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually in their walk with god to be a better person. We never lose hope for them, one day they will make there life straight and  follow God.

Not unlike before when we had lots of cards order to make, long time ago. But not anymore we're hoping that the Lord will open new door for us for a opportunity which our products here in Tamar will be able to sell it somewhere else .Thank you so much for helping and supporting us through your prayers,it means a lot to us.
